Vintage Bathroom Accessories DIY

This Vintage Bathroom Accessories Set is a very quick and easy project that goes great in a rustic bathroom for that "Farmhouse" look. DIY includes directions for a toothbrush holder and soap dispenser.

I bought the soap dispenser top and metal lid with holes at Hobby Lobby.

I already had the vintage pint canning jars and rings. If you don't have them, they are available at craft stores, also. The soap dispenser fits a regular pint jar, and the lid with holes fits a wide-mouth jar.

Paint the lids and rings so they will all match. I used "Nickel" Spray Paint, but you could use gold, etc.

Clear coat the lids (both sides) and rings (outside of the rings only). Let dry thoroughly.

Put the soap dispenser lid into the jar. if the tube is too long, use scissors to trim it to the needed length.

Fill the soap dispenser with liquid soap, add the lid and ring, and it's ready to go!

After the lid with holes is painted and dry, simply screw it onto a widemouth pint jar. The holes are large enough to accommodate most toothbrushes.

Place the soap dispenser and toothbrush holder in a woven basket or other vintage holder. There's room for the toothpaste, too.

Now, wasn't that quick and easy?

I love how my vintage accessories look in my rustic bathroom!
